This TV adaptation of the film follows the mismatched police pairing of by-the-book Hong Kong police detective Lee (Jon Foo) and cocky black maverick cop Det. Carter (Justin Hires) in Los Angeles. The series wasn’t the success of the theatrical releases and was cancelled in the middle of its first season. In the pilot, the two investigated the theft of Chinese antiquities.
