Ex-model Maddie Hayesis horrified to learn that her former business manager has skipped town and taken the majority of her assets with him, but she discovers that she still has ownership of a detective agency run by David Addison. Although Hayes arrives at the office with the intent of shutting down operations, Addison attempts to convince her that the firm can be profitable. While scoping out Addison’s claims, Hayes finds herself drawn to playing detective.
